Awareness and Education
OCAGC raises awareness and educates individuals through our Teal Power Talks presentations. We tailor our presentations to each audience. We present the facts about Ovarian Cancer and allow Survivors to tell their unique stories about their journey. We will speak to anyone about Ovarian Cancer. We have spoken to many Cincinnati businesses, large and small. When we speak to Medical Professionals, we partner with one of our local Gynecological Oncologist.
We also raise awareness and educate at local health fairs and retail events, passing out close to 5,000 information cards per year.

Survivor Support
Each year, we provide close to 150 Comfort Care Tote Bags to the Cincinnati Gynecological Oncology offices, who then gives them to newly diagnosed women, usually at the time of treatment education.
In the tote bag are items we hope will give someone comfort in their treatment. It also has resource information of other local services that we are not able to oer, being a volunteer lead organization. Attached to the Totes is a Request of Contact Information so that we can personally follow up with each newly diagnosis individual.
OCAGC also hosts Survivor Social events to foster connections, aid in support, and offer mentoring for women navigating an ovarian cancer diagnosis.
Events
We also host Survivor Social events to foster connection and support and offer mentoring for women navigating an ovarian cancer diagnosis.

Funding Research
Over the past 13 years, we have funded nearly $3 million for ovarian cancer research, supporting some of the top researchers in the field. This grassroots funding has helped leverage millions of additional dollars through NIH grants. In 2026, we are funding $350,000 in research.
