Our Organization

We are a nonprofit organization whose mission is to create public awareness about the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer; to help women who have been recently diagnosed with this disease; to provide information and networking opportunities to survivors and caregivers. We formed a partnership with the Cancer Support Community in Blue Ash (previously the Wellness Community of Greater Cincinnati) as a means of achieving our not for profit status and to be able to keep funds raised locally in the community.

Our 2012 Power is Teal will be September 15th at Lunken Playfield. Last year, we had over 900 participants including 65 survivors. Hoping to reach the 1,000 participants this year. Please mark your calendars for this event.

Newly Diagnosed BasketsNewly Diagnosed

If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, we would like to provide a "Comfort Kit". We provide information on the disease, chemotherapy, caregiver, a teddy bear, a teal blanket, a coffee cup, a teal ribbon scarf, journal, teal bracelet and a personalized note. For more information, please see our support page.

Bookmarks - Symptom Cards

We have symptom card bookmarks for you. Please contact us if you would like us to mail you some. Perhaps your work, church, doctor's office or health club will allow you to display them.
